This is an FOL Used Bookstore find for a dollar. I tried reading this novel and just couldn't get into it.

Persian Pickle is the name used by quilters for Paisley fabric, and this book is about a depression era Kansas farm wives quilting club. But who killed Ben Crook, the abusive husband of one of the quilters? Nobody's telling, but all in the club are claiming responsiblity. Written in the voice of one of the women, it's a delightful book.
