I bought this yesterday from the Friends of Antioch Public Library book sale room for a quarter.

He seeks to probe the mystery of the witches' prophecy, and demands, "How now, you secret, black, and midnight hags? What is't you do?"

I finished reading this on 2/4/05 ... and then we saw the play performed at our local theater. This was a great Shakespeare tragedy. This has been used in so many other books ... Terry Pratchett and Lilian Jackson Braun to only name two.

Favorite Quotes: (page 57) Witches: Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

(page 78) Lady MacBeth: Out, damned spot! out, I say!
