When Doug Parker married Hailey - beautiful, smart and ten years older - he left his carefree Manhattan life behind to live with her and her teenage son, Russ, in the suburbs. It isn't long before his new life is spinning hopelessly out of control...

My review
I read this for my library book group read and found it to be a very easy read, and the author clearly has a good understanding of grief, as Doug's character was spot on as someone who is heartbroken after the loss of his wife in a plane crash. I could relate to him and actually rather liked his character. A good, quick read :-)
