I have only just realised that I left this one un-journalled several years ago.
I gave it a try but I couldn't get into it, so I'm going to let it move on.

When Leila Hanif - daughter of a Beirut gangster, sister of an international terrorist, married to an Englishman - is forced to take part in an assassination that goes disastrously wrong, she must abandon her family and go into hiding.
Two years later, consumed by hatred and despair, Leila hazards everything on a desperate attempt to win back her son Robbie: she hijacks a plane carrying the boy and his father, and forces it to land in the arid, unforgiving desert of South Yemen.
While the authorities frantically seek a diplomatic solution, others see the hijack as a godsent opportunity to settle their own debts of blood. But only one person has the knowledge and the will to break the endless cycle of violence and retribution...

Donated to the bookshelf in the shop. But they were closing for the New Year break, and the books will need sorting etc before being shelved, so they won't be available to catch for at least a few days I guess...
