Oh my gosh, what a surprise I got when I opened this parcel this morning. A completely unasked for and absolutely thrilled , book from my wish list. I had read a book by Torey Hayden and liked it so much that I put most of her other books on my wish list. I also looked for them in used book stores without success.
I hope you realize how happy you made an old lady today with your very generous kindness.

The the sequel to the true story One Child. Seven years after Sheila goes out of Torey's life, she is back again. She is still a troubled and troublesome young teen. She and Torey develop a relationship of sorts. If I had been Torey I think that I would have given up on Sheila, her rudeness and moods would have been too much for me. But Torey is made of stronger stuff and continues to be a good and kind friend as Sheila works through her problems and begins to let go of them.An epilogue tells us what Sheila is doing nearly ten years later. Not the full potential that one would expect for someone with such a high IQ. But to each his own .
Thank you once again Ossiefry for sending me this book that I enjoyed reading as much as I expected that I would.
