Michael moore winges about Rich white Americans living in Manhatten. Wait a second, Mr Moore is very much a rich white man living in Manhatten!
This book, while pointing a justified accusing finger at the excessive lies and profits of American politicians, failed to hit the mark with me which is a shame as I deeply dislike most politicians. If only I could respect Mr Moore....... but he's just too much like a cheap tabloid hack.

I picked this up at the August meetup. I have wanted to read it for ages but i have several other BC books I have had for months so I should really read them first. I think it is about time someone challened Bush and his corrupt system, but I have read a couple of articles by Michael Moore and he tends to rant and is a little one-sided. I suppose I will have to reserve judgment until i have read it.

I have read this and I think Moore makes some very good points although he can be a little strident and informal in the way he makes them. I realise he needs to shout loudly in order to make his voice heard above the fanatical pro-Bush majority in America but he still seems a little aggressive to me. I did enjoy the book however and I think that it is good that someone has the guts to fight against the corrupt political system.
Just picked up at toonight's meetup - looking forward to it!
I read and enjoyed this, and now my flatmate is reading it. I have a problem with Moore's use of unreferenced statistics and other data - I like what he's saying, but, as a science geek, would like to see substatiated info on sources etc.

I did release this where I said I would - and it got snapped up immediately by one of the gym instructors, who then proceeded to explain the bookcrossing lable and stuff to the people at reception :)
