Ah the joys of Hobbits! I read this book prior to the release of the film "Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings" so I would have some background material of the world in which the film takes place. Needless to say it was a wonderful introduction to the world which Tolkien imagined, and it inspired me to keep reading more of his works. This is the first book I've set free after learning about BookCrossing. =(^-.-^)=
