2 journalers for this copy...
One of hubby's contributions. He says I absolutely have to read this one before passing it along.
I hadn't expected to like this book, going from hubby's description (it being mostly about a bunch of rich snobs from Orange County) but it turned out to be a good read. It's a whodunit about an alcoholic ex-cop and the troubles his drinking gets him into. He meets a wealthy lady who, for some reason he can't fathom, takes a romantic interest in him. I'll leave off before I give too much away, but I will say it's a good mystery.
Release to gameface planned shortly. Enjoy, friend!
Thanks SO much SuorClarisse!
I live in Orange County (just a few miles from those "rich snobs" in Newport Beach). I see them every day.
I'll let you know how realistic the book is, when I finish it.

I can't believe that I haven't made an entry here yet...since I read it back in September. Sorry SuorClarisse, for taking so long.
Excellent book. The places mentioned are places we go to in Newport Beach...with mostly different names. But it's very obvious what ficticious places are really what real places.

This book is about an ex-cop from Newport Beach, California.
I just sent this book to Don, who is an ex-cop from Newport Beach, California.
Hope he likes it. He doesn't usually like Joseph Wambaugh...but you never know.
