Amazon Editorial Review
Lemony Snicket's work is filled with bitter truths, like: 'It is always cruel to laugh at people, of course, although sometimes if they are wearing an ugly hat it is hard to control yourself.' Or: 'It is very easy to say that the important thing is to try your best, but if you are in real trouble the most important thing is not trying your best, but getting to safety.'
For all of life's ups and downs, its celebrations and its sorrows, here is a book to commemorate it all – especially for those not fully soothed by chicken soup. Witty and irreverent, Horseradish is a book with universal appeal, a delightful vehicle to introduce Snicket's uproariously unhappy observations to a crowd not yet familiar with the Baudelaires' misadventures.

Yes, yes, I couldn't wait until Christmas to open my package!! Thank you keeta1, for everything, and especially this wishlist book. Lemony Snicket is great (in a depressing sorta way! haha). I loved the Unfortunate Events books, so I am looking forward to the "bitter truths" he has for us in this book.
I loved everything else about the package too! The personalized bookmarks with the Balley runners on the backs were FANTASTIC, as was the fairy postcard with the dollar on it! I also love the Matthew 19:26 bookmark, the stickers and labels, and I even love the "Christmas on the beach" wrapping paper!!
You spoiled me!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Such a witty book...I love Lemony Snicket's writing. I even liked his script on the back that says, "Life is a turbulent journey fraught with confusion, heartbreak, and inconvenience. This book will not help."
Under the Travel section he writes, "Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them." Man oh man, I TOTALLY AGREE!!! ;-)
I think most will find this book funny, but it will be most appreciated by those who have read at least some of the Unfortunate Events books. Therefore, I do not know how I will release this yet.
Thanks again to keetah1, who sent me this wonderful book.

Just received this book yesterday in the mail. Thanks so much nattabee for this RABCK! I'm looking forward to reading it. The couple pages I couldn't help but read definitely made me laugh. But after Nattabee's recommendation, I think I'll hold off until after I at least get started on the spiral for the Unfortunate Events series that I joined a couple weeks back before I read any more.
Finally got around to reading this. Loved some of his sayings as they are so true.
