Oh, wow. This was the start of a series!
Unfortunately, it turned into a DNF for me when I realized I couldn't keep all the character names straight and was having to work really hard. Too hard, in fact, and so reading wasn't fun, and reading is supposed to be fun,so... Off to the next. Sigh.
