As a mindless summer read it's not a bad book, I really enjoyed the beginning & first half of the book but the neat-all-loose-ends-tied-up-in-a-hurry-with-a-happy-ending really didn't appeal to me that much.

Not a bad read. The writer appeared to know London fairly well, but the characters tended to be charicatures and I just didn't identify with the main character. The book also ended rather too suddenly for my liking and all the loose ends were tied up in about three pages. This was a bit too neat for me, and it struck me that the writer ran out of time to finish the book and so speeded up the pace too much.

Having said that, I enjoyed reading the book and it was an easy read.

I will be posting this book on to someone from nervousness.org in the next few days.

this book was another one of those british-single-girl books that seem to be so popular right now. it was an easy, quick read--somewhat mindless, but that's not always bad. it was fairly entertaining, though the ending was a bit predictable.

the book will be sent to another member of nervousness.org as part of an LMAO.

This was a very funny and entertaining book! The characters were warped and hilarious and strange all in their own special ways. I had a lot of fun reading this before bed each night......snickering to myself as I drifted off to sleep. Who knew it could be such a nightmare to be a nanny....fall in love.....find true love......write a novel......play in a rock band.....live in a castle.....etc...thanks for sharing this book....what a fun read!

I am sending this on to a fellow Nervousness.org member as part of a Nervousness BookCrossing.com book ring.
