I read this several years ago and thought it was one of the stranger books I had read. I hope others will read it—I'd love to read others' journal entries to get an idea of what different people think of it.

Dr. Marcus Gallagher would like to rid the Earth of genetically inherited disease. At the beginning of the book one of theose candidates, a research physician named Gene Nolan, begins to understand the scope and implications of the work on Bloodsworth Island.

Sounds pretty creepy!
