Full of gods who are old friends, gods who are new to me, and the surprise gift of e.e.cummings quoted at the head of the final chapter. Thought this was wonderful, in the true sense. Thanks Ben. Do you want it back, or shall I pass it on?

...and if I ever get a chance to read it before somebody else wants to borrow it, it'll be a miracle.
Going to my good buddy Lucycat, who's only just discovered Gaiman and needs to be lured into the fold...

Many thanks, sweetie, will get through this as soon as possible and then back to you for that one last read...

Update:

Utterly fab, and assuring of Gaiman of a place in the pantheon of the gods...or at least in my list of favourite writers of all-time.

Have since also read 'Neverwhere', and that was fabulous too...more, more!

Off to Olliebear for a stop-over - I'm sure Ben won't mind!

Really really enjoyed this. Took me a while to get around to reading it as the size put me off a little, but having had an operation on my hand I had plenty time. I was pleasantly surprised and found I whizzed through it very quickly!

An absolute joy to read...I will now get onto Neverwhere which I have in my posession.

Is this travelling on or going back to Ben??
