i really liked this book! It was lots of fun to read. My hubby, on the other hand, thought it was stupid. It's not like Grisham's other novels. This one is lighthearted and will make you feel warm and fuzzy.

This was a pretty good book. Just a nice light read (great for waiting at the airport or something of the such). VERY Different from most of Grisham.

Ah, Christmas. The season of giving. The time of year when we gather together with the people who matter most in our lives. When the cold outside is nothing beside the warmth in our hearts. A time of peace on earth and goodwill toward men. A time when thousands of people crowd the malls, fighting over parking spaces, Furbys and Tickle Me Elmos. When neighbors risk life and limb on rickety ladders to best each other in decorating contests. A time of putting on pounds and racking up debt, both of which will last you until next Christmas. The most wonderful time of the year? Perhaps, but also the most stressful. Which is why Luther Krank wants to skip the whole thing and take his wife on a Caribbean cruise. It's the best time of year for it, since nobody just skips Christmas. The story of the Kranks' struggle to do their own thing for once, and the things that get in the way, shows that the spirit of Christmas is within each of us. Whether we want it or not. :)
