Bit of a strange one this... it's a Reader's Digest "Select Editions" condensed book from 1997, but I cannot trace any sort of ISBN number for it...

Anyway, it's four books; "Airframe" / "Birds of Prey" / "The Partner" / "The Falconer", written by Wilbur Smith, John Grisham, Elaine Clark McCarthy, and Michael Crichton respectively.

The blurb from "Birds of Prey" reads;

"It is 1667 and Sir Francis Courteney and his son Henry "Hal" Courteney are on patrol in their fighting caravel off the Agulhas Cape of Southern Africa. They have a letter from Charles II sanctioning them to hunt down and capture enemy ships beyond the line."

Not read by me, but taking advantage of a local charity shop's offer of "Four Reader's Digest books for £1", to further promote BookCrossing. ;-)

Journal Entry 2 by JamesUK at High Chelmer Shopping Centre in Chelmsford, Essex United Kingdom on Thursday, September 16, 2010

Released 13 yrs ago (9/16/2010 UTC) at High Chelmer Shopping Centre in Chelmsford, Essex United Kingdom

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I'll be leaving this on the first free seat I see in the High Chelmer Shopping Centre, when I walk through there today around 12:40pm. It'll most likely be at the Market-end, unless there's a large collection of O.A.P's sitting around; waiting for free seats in the "Thornton's" cafe shop.

;-)

(Incidentally, what's the correct collective noun for a group of pensioners? I'd use "clutter", as they are always cluttering up the place...)

(See http://www.highchelmershopping.co.uk/, for more information)

It'll have a BC "I'm Free!" bookmark in it, and a yellow "PICK ME UP" note stuck on its front.
