At first I didn't expect much from this book. I figured it was just another brainless "chick lit" type book, but as it turns out, I really rather enjoyed it. It wasn't predictable at all and was a lot of fun to read, but still had a great plot and developed the character fantastically. It's not Ulysses, but it's still a really fun, well-written book about a british taxi driver named Kat who is stringing along five different lovers--male and female-- and is keeping them separate by attaching a different colored cell phone to each one. She meets a fare who refuses to take no for an answer when he asks her out and manages to confuse her entire world, forcing her to ask herself what she really wants in life. There were some great laugh out loud moments, but also several more serious ones that really add up to a great read. If you are looking for something that's a little light, but not completely brainless, Cheet is definitely for you.
