An eccentric family in India tries to survive and make ends meet on a daily basis. Their country is changing, and getting more and more modern.

Each character struggles to know who s/he is, what he wants from life. Some of the situations are a bit ridiculous, at least in my view. This huge extended family is also on the process of changing, especially with the decisions which the new generations will have to take: to follow or rebel against tradition, to take into account the wishes of the elderly members of the family.
