Picked this up at Porta's Pizza while picking up my order. Thanks for the recommendation on this place! Haven't fixed the food yet, but it looks really good! Esp the cinnamon rolls!

This book has been on hold for a bit as I had to read some bookrings ahead of it. But it is a fast and easy read. I enjoyed it. Been awhile since I have read a mystery and this was a good way to get back into it. I will look for more by this author.

I will be trading this book for the 5 Minute Mysteries in the Already Been BookCrossed bookbox.

Oh, and the food from Porta's was great! Those Calzones are filling!

I took this out of the ABBC#3 bookbox. I always enjoy a Spenser story. Will pass it on when finished.

Another entertaining Spenser mystery. A famous TV star has been threatened, and Spenser has been hired to protect her. She's quite obnoxious, but he will help her because she doesn't have anyone else. Very quick reading.

I think I know who would like to read this book next; if not, I'll take it to our new OBCZ in Charleston.

Given to BookCrosser bookczuk today.

Got this from kiptrix today when she came down to feed our new OBCZ. I plan to read it before bumma sees it, otherwise she'll squirrel it away in her part of the house and I won't see if for ages! (Yes, bumma, that was a tease. You are loved!)

I always like reading Robert B Parker... the Spenser novels are quick reading usually, and I use them as sort of a "palate cleanser" between other books. I always get a kick out of the interplay between Spenser and Hawk. I had a passage marked to quote, but, silly me, lost the place when I put the book down last night after finishing it.

I also like reading the descriptions of Boston- the pix is of Beacon Hill.

Passing this on to Bumma now...

Thanks kiptrix!

Can't wait to get to this
Spenser, but must finish the book I'm on.
thank you Kiptrix. I loved your "recipe" bookmark! Thank you bookczk for remembering I love Spenser.

Yes,Spenser,Hawk and Susan are up to snuff this time.
the T V background was interesting. Spenser does show his comapassionate side again, which makes him more lovable.

This book is headed off as a RABCK to a new OBCZ in Florida.

Journal Entry 14 by ppagano from Miami, Florida USA on Monday, June 28, 2004
I received this RABCK from bookczuk - Thank you for my OBCZ. As I love thrillers I will read first then give it to the zone afterward.

Sounds like a good read and this book just seems to continue traveling. :)

As I did not read this book I have not rated it. My TBR was way too long and I was going to leave it at my OBCZ (Official Bookcrossing Zone) here in Miami.
While attending an Electrical Trouble Shooting Course - I decided to send it traveling along with Roger (the instructer) as he was interested in the site and seems to be an avid reader.
I hope that he enjoys this book and becomes an active member as well.

Journal Entry 16 by 3faze1 from Council Bluffs, Iowa USA on Saturday, May 14, 2005
I got the book from a trainee in one of my classes. I plan to read the book, share it with my wife, and then take it on a plane to one of my upcoming training sessions and leave it in a hotel lobby or maybe in the seatback pocket of the airplane.

The book was released tonight 9/1/2005. Good book and happy to hve carried it across country from Florida to California.

I hope the next person enjoys!!!!!!!!!!
