My sister moved out a few years ago and left behind a lot of books that she didn't want. This isn't really my type of genre, but I have adopted them for bookcrossing so that they can go and see the wider world.

'Chick-lit' isn't my favourite genre, although I have enjoyed reading some of it, so it has to grab me from the off to persuade me it's worth sticking with. Sadly, I didn't get to the end of the second chapter. Julia isn't sure she has the right man in Mark and decides that having a baby will make it all better - even after she admits to herself that she knows this isn't a good idea. Errrrr so why do it? I might have stayed with it just to see her get kicked in the teeth for it, but the writing style got on my nerves. Somewhere between first and third person narrative, I found it difficult to get into. I freely admit this wouldn't be my first choice of book to read, but can't bear to let a book leave my hands without giving it a go. Not my cup-of-tea, but I'm sure will be enjoyed by other readers.

Loved it! Easy reading, great story line and a real unputdownable book! Jane green never disappoints and for me this was one of her best
