My sister gave me this book to read. A heartbreaking story of a little girl, who is placed into a class for special needs children. Written by the teacher who must have been a saint to handle a group of children like this.
The new system of registering books is quite different. It did not allow me to type in the name of book or the author. Then it seemed like no place to make a journal entry. But I expect that i will get used to it sooner or later.

A heartbreaking story of a little girl and the exceptional woman who was her teacher for several months.Torey Hayden was a teacher for children with special needs . The book traces her day to day life with nine children with varying degrees of disabilities, but especially with Sheila. The book was published thirty years ago. I would like to know how Sheila turned out and wonder if there is a sequel.
