Katherine Paterson does very nice, touching stories for young adults that involve real crises. This one relates a young man's search for the father he lost in Vietnam.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I've had this book since like third grade : )
am taking this book to California so my Grandson can read and release.
I began reading it yesterday. Currently I am on page 61, but the beginning of the novel is very touching. It brings you to contemplate the pain for the families of deceased soldiers. The first 61 ages in particular are very thought provoking. I hope the next reader gets out of it what I have.
