"The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a murder mystery novel like no other. The detective, and narrator, is Christopher Boone. Christopher is fifteen and has Asperger`s Syndrome. He knows a very great deal about maths and very little about
human beings. He loves lists, patterns and the truth. He hates the colours yellow and brown and being touched. he has never gone further than the end of the road on his own, but when he finds a neighbour`s dog murdered he sets out on a terrifying journey which will turn his whole world upside down."
I read this book in Norwegian a few years ago and I really loved it. I thought it was a very different from anything I had read before, whith all the illustrations of maps and lists and smileys. A great book. Read it.
This is my second copy.

I went to the post-office this afternoon and send this of to Sweden.
Received it today from zimort. Thank you!
Fantastic! I just loved this book, which gave me an insight into an autistic (albeit fictional) person's feelings. It makes me think that there is just a thin line between "normal" and "different".
By request!
The book was waiting for me when I came home. Thank you very much.
Very interesting story and important to read about an autistic disability. The book was also easy to read but why started the story with chapter nr. 2 I thought he only choosed prime number.
Thank you Mark Haddon through Christoffer John Francis Boone, now I know 2 is a prime number!

"Don't ever apologize to an author for buying something in paperback, or taking it out from a library (that's what they're there for. Use your library). Don't apologize to this author for buying books second hand, or getting them from bookcrossing or borrowing a friend's copy. What's important to me is that people read the books and enjoy them, and that, at some point in there, the book was bought by someone. And that people who like things, tell other people. The most important thing is that people read... " — Neil Gaiman |
