Hmmm... I don't really know what to think. I had heard great things about Evan's writing, about how funny she is. etc, but I felt that there was a bit too much about the "bike" and offhandendly about culture and not as much about actual travel and local color as I would have liked. Perhaps it was due to the book being set in Spain (not my focus on travel reading). I had trouble staying focused through most of the book and it took me much longer to read than I had expected it to. I have her 3 other books and am looking forward to reading them on the off chance that they hold my attention more.
