I really love Waters' writing (although this is not my favourite of her books!). I particularly love the fact that her writing serves to remind us that lesbians existed before the 20th century.
This book is something of a mystery. It's not exactly a thriller, and the twist is slightly predictable, but it will still keep you on the edge of your seat. Definitely worth a read.
