2010 BookCrossing Classroom Inventory
During the 2009-2010 School year, this book was available to students in our library. The library discarded it this year and it now makes its debut in a bookcrossing classroom for students in 7th and 8th grade for the 2010-2011 school year. Approximately 140 students will have access to this book next year.

Discarded from the classroom collection to make room for books which appeal more to modern readers. Our students haven't learned not to judge a book by its cover and with readers in my classes at such an awkward stage of development, appearances are so important. Most kids in my classes are too embarassed to carry about a book this old. Combine that with the growing list of new titles to indulge in and the fact that our reading program relies on computer tests which dont include all the older books and the recipe for abandonment of old tomes is perfect.
