I started this one, but failed to finish. It's probably an interesting tale, and was rather readable, but the narrator rubbed me up the wrong way.

This is a huge book. An immense achievement that took the author 13 years to write. I admire the drive to write it but unfortunately did find it a little self indulgent. I was pleased to finish it. It's based on the real-life story of the author who escaped from prison and lived for ten years in Bombay, India. Will release at an upcoming Sydney MeetUp.

Will drop off this tome at the Sydney Meetup. I read it all and admire the huge amount of work that went into it. It is quite a story, but I was pleased to finish it.

I loved this book, even if it did take me six years to get around to reading it. It's hard to think of it as anything other than cathartic autobiography, which the author denies, but it made a great story, however embellished it may be. (seriously, the main character is a complete and utter Mary Sue.)
