On a world supported on the back of a giant turtle (sex unknown), a gleeful, explosive, wickedly eccentric expedition sets out. There's an avaricious buy inept wizard, a naive tourist whose luggage moves on hundreds of dear little legs, dragons who only exist if you believe in them, and of course the edge of the planet.

This was the first Pratchett book I read after Good Omens that he co-wrote with Neil Gaiman. I had high expectations for this book, and was disappointed. I don't think it was a crappy book as such, I just had thought it would be a lot more funny.

It took me years to open my eyes for Pratchett again, but I'm glad I finally did!
