I'm sure I have read one or two of Mansell's books before so this should not have been too much of a surprise...

Quite a flaky book I thought; an easy holiday read perhaps, not too demanding on the ol' brain.

Some interesting words pop up now and then - nincompoop (p23) a word I have not heard nor read in a decade or more and on p 158 we have skiffle, pernickety & lollygagging

Mansell seems to have a fascination (?) with Australia - with two characters from AU: Casey Kruger, teen idol/movie star from AU setries "On the Beach" and Honor Donaldson, AU supermodel I am curious why these - not so lovable - characters were Australan rather than, say, American?
Another character,Ash, is offered a job in AU..
