Wow, what a great surprise! I had completely forgotten about the Woman´s Day exchange, so, here I am, with a stupid grin on my face :-) I have never read anything by Margaret Atwood, by I have heard good things about her books. And it´s historical fiction, which I love. Lucky me!

This is a kind of book that keeps you guessing. Even after reading the last page, I felt that I still didn´t know the characters. This is the story of Grace Marks, a woman convicted of murder at the age of sixteen and sentenced to life imprisonment. She tells her story to a doctor who is trying to unravel the mysteries of the human mind, but as you get more involved in the book, you start to question what you believe. Who is innocent and who is guilty? It is hard to tell…
This book continues its travels in the UK, where safrolistics has put it on the wishlist.
