I read that book in 1977, when I was a student, and I didn't care to read it again, but it has followed me around since then, so there must be something about it. Maybe it was because I discovered that I wasn't lesbian reading that book?

Picked it up from a fellow bookcrosser at todays BC meet.
- looks promising.

One of the things I love about Bookcrossing is that you come across books
that you otherwise might never have read.

A strong, smart, athletic filmaker and lesbian - who never doubts, never falters,
and always knows what she wants - and all this in the 60s and possibly also with
elements of truth based on Browns life (one of the founders of both the gay and
women's movement).

Positive vibes all the way through and for that I loved it.

I will bring it along on my next Oslo trip and leave it on the shelf,
unless someone requests it.

I've read about half of this book now, and I'm thrilled. It's witty, bittersweet and absolutely charming. And you don't even need to like girls to fall in love with the wonderful heroine, Molly Bolt!

I hope somebody will pick this up and find a good home for it! I love it and I think it's well worth reading.
