The Moonstone (Oxford World's Classics)

I'm planning on releasing "The Moonstone" by Wilkie Collins soon. I discovered this book for the first time in Reading Public Library (Reading, PA), near the Bronte sisters' books, and decided to try it out. I fell in love with it after the first reading, so I rushed out to Barnes and Noble booksellers to buy a copy for myself. I enjoyed the format so much that I'd like to share it with the world. It's a story about a yellow diamond stolen from India and given to a British heiress named Rachel Verinder. When the diamond disappears from Rachel's bedroom, everyone's a suspect, including the Hindu priests that followed the diamond to England. Each character in the story takes a turn in narrating the events following the theft of the diamond, and it's eventual reemergence. Collins' story originally was released in the form of a serial novel in "All the Year Round", a publication edited by Charles Dickens, in late 1867.
