Through the volcanic dust this book arrived today from the dusty UK (you seem to be under the cloud all the time!). Thanks!
The back says:"Funny and touching romance between two people who've given up on love." And the leading lady is "altogether too big and too abrupt for comfort"... Is somebody spying on me???
Will try to read it ASAP.

I've had this book for almost two years now and I was browsing my Mnt. TBR for a book connected with Wales to take part in the St David's Day Exchange. Well, it said on the back cover: "New South WALES", so I'm sure St David will also cast his eye and blessings on that remote area down under.
I felt I also needed to read the book, but after 184 pages of dusty track roads I gave up - too slow for me. Although I did find a suitable quatation to put on my wall "Bless this Mess" - perhaps I'll do stich-work some fine day. I do have a doormat saying "A clean house is a sign of a wasted life" and a kitchen tile saying "Boring women have tidy kitchens" and a sign saying "Pardon the mess, it's the maid's day off" and a fridge magnet saying "You can touch the dust but please do not write in it", so you pretty much get the picture... Books have more or less taken over the Home Sweet Home.
I hope the person who will get this book won't be too narrow-minded with the Welsh-connection. And I'm positive you'd rather have this than my work mates two nutty Welsh Springer Spaniels or her bad-tempered aunt who lived in Wales for almost 30 years.

PS Hello Starflash! Did you see your book has done the rounds! Horsham - Finland - Horsham!
I liked the style of writing but really did not enjoy the story. It just didn't engage me. Will now pass it on.
