This has been on my shelf for years. I'm packing this to read on the trip to Amsterdam. I'm going to the 2010 BookCrossing Convention there. If I finish it before I return, I'll leave it there and make release notes when I get home.

Registered in Centreville, Virginia, USA.

Edit 30 April 2010: I'd read this before, and rereading it I enjoyed it just as much, though not as much as I did as a child.

Melydia and I shared our books on the trip from Washington, DC to Amsterdam for the 2010 BookCrossing Convention. We travelled together much of the time and often swapped books. Although melydia was reading this one on the airplane I decided to give it a pass because Roald Dahl is not my favorite and because I had read this title already in July 2005 and hear are the comments I had at that time.

I found this book to be ridiculously silly and quite disgusting ... but I am sure that the kids love it. And almost anything that will get a youngster to read is good.
