One of my favorite movies of all time, I'm ashamed to admit I've never read the book.
Loved it. Traded to fellow Book Crosser, Alrescate. Sent in mail today. Enjoy!
I was excited to pull this out of today's mail. I'm looking forward to reading this (gently...with hope the pages don't all fall out). Now all I need to do is watch the movie. Yes I know I'm a movie heathen for never seeing this movie...I promise to do so soon.
Well I was certainly surprised by this! I would have never imagined Audrey Hepburn in the Holiday Golightly role if I hadn't known it had been done. I will have to go rent the movie to see how they dealt with some of the more steamy aspects of the story. (In true 1950's style I'm sure it is glossed over or left out.)
I'm finishing up the short stories and have to say I'm enjoying this reading experience. Sad to say I hadn't read any of Capote stuff before but after this I'll be on the look-out for more.

As this is quite fragile I'm going to pass this along to another Bookcrosser. (The pages are trying to escape and I wouldn't want to release this in the wild.)

Found on a picnic table at a beach near Waikiki- read it before in the 70's and enjoyed it again.
