Bought at the Indiana Free Library's Used Book Sale in Indiana, Pa., to read and release in the wild. It was new, still in the shrinkwrap, and set me back all of 10¢.

This may be the best 10¢ I ever spent! Once again, I am greatly impressed and entertained with Dick Francis as a writer. This book centered less around horse racing and more around glass making, which was a nice change of pace. There didn't seem to be any gaping holes in the plot, as sometimes happens in an abridgement. Everything was explained nicely and I never felt lost, in large part due to the excellent reading by Martin Jarvis. I hope the next listener enjoys it as much as I did.
