I bought this book with a giftcard my son gave me at Christmas. Thanks Kyle!

This book was 'way too much of a Romance for me! I love historical novels and books about time travel, but I did find it boring to read through the seemingly endless descriptions of all the various ways the hero and heroine performed the primal act, from tender to violent and everything in between. And yet the plot itself was enthralling, the characters convincingly depicted, and the action often thrilling. But I don't think I'll be reading the rest of the series.

I'm planning to leave this book on the magazine table.
