Started reading this today and when I opened it I found a postcard from Malta inside which I'd been using as a book mark, although weirdly I don't remember ever trying to read this book before. Old age has finally found me!

After three persistent attempts at trying to force myself to finish this book, I had to admit defeat and give up! I really enjoyed never let me go and have heard great things about Ishiguro's other books but with this one there was nothing there to engage me or hold my interest. I suspect this is mainly because i found the main character, Christopher Banks to be so sinfully dull! Anyway this book is going off as a RABCK and hopefully the next reader will find it a better read than i did!
