I read this awhile ago and passed my copy to someone pre-bookcrossing. When I saw a brand new copy at a garage sale for 25 cents I couldn't pass it up. I remember a little of the story but most especially remember the main character Earl Swagger as the ultimate tough guy hero. I WILL read this again and soon.
I had this book for quite awhile and just didn't feel like reading it. I am glad I did because it took me back to a character I met in a previous book-Earl Swagger. I had read of him from other people's perspective in Black Light and this got me right into his head and life. This prequel was as good as any in the Swagger series.
