After having survived a serious illness and having broken up with his wife, our hero moves to Brooklyn "to find a place to die". There he meets his once-promising nephew and all sorts of funny neighborhood characters. Their lives become more and more connected, as they become a community.

Feels like watching a movie? Yes.

Bought the book at the Paris-Est station, gave it at a meetup in Zurich. I hope the book will find its way further!

Finally had the time to read this one. A man looks for a place to die, moves to Brooklyn, but the people don't let him die. They still need him.

A beautiful book, full of hints and possibilities, side stories and colorful images. Worth reading!
