Picked up in Puerto del Carmen.
This book disappointed very much at the start, as I had just read a Catherine Alliot book, and from the get go the formula and style of writing in this book was not just similar it was virtually identical.
The main characters and the lifestyles in which they lived were virtually identical.
But if this is the only Catherine Alliot book you read it is a very nice winsome story and an enjoyable read
