The postman handed me the book this very morning. Thanks for sending it.
I'm in the middle of another book for the time being, but will be done with it in a couple of days. I'll start on this one a.s.a.p.

A very powerful story, very detailed and touching. The author reveals step by step what’s behind his tale, and though it all goes at a very slow pace it is not boring at all, not for a single minute. Even now that I put it aside it keeps me thinking about it and certainly will keep doing so for a long while.
Thank you very much for including me to your ring.
I’ll send the book on as soon as I have karen's address.

My first read of this author and I will be reading more.
I loved the way the characters evolved and almost seemed to switch personalities from strongest to weakest.
The style put me in mind of Margarat Atwood, another newly discovered by me author.
Thank you for sharing

Wonderful! Not what I was expecting as the only other Ishiguro I've read was An artist of the floating world, but I really enjoyed it. I loved the idea behind the story which reminded me of a book called Spares by Michael Marshall Smith.
I liked the way the story was narrated, the way it went back and forth. I liked that you never quite got all the story so maybe got a sense of how the characters would have felt.

Thanks for starting the ring deludeddaydream!

I already have Kingfan30s address so will post this on asap.

Book has arrived safe and sound, I have a few other rings to get through so will get to it as soon as I can. Thanks for the bookmark Caroley. x

3 May 10 - I really enjoyed this book and read it in two days. It was the first book by the author that I have read and I will certainly be reading more. It took a while to work out what was going on, but was not slow at all. An unusual topic that I keep thinking about, what a horrible world it would be to live in. Thanks for sharing.

Just waiting for the address of the next person and I will get it in the post.
