I really loved this book. I found it very inventive how the author worked the recipies into the emotions of the protagonist. Plus, it's about women, and it's about Latin America, what more could I want? The protagonist, Tita, is a strong woman who is not swayed by tradition or by male machismo. Very good book! BTW, this is an ARC, but it looks pretty complete (even has the same cover), if this is important to you. To read another review I have about this book, click here.
