Book number 13 from many more recieved from vc-mike last November. This is the 5th mystery book featuring Private Eye Elvis Cole. I will give it a try. Elvis Cole is on an impossible mission. Looking for for an actresse's birth parents in Louisanna.. But nobody is supposed to know. This story was fun to read with the descriptions of southern life, people and conversations. Or do you know what gasper goo ( drum fish ), garballs ( catfish ) , cracklins ( fried pork fat ) or boudin ( cajun sausages ) are?

I'm sending this paperback ( along with others )to Auntdia as a surprise.

This one looks really good too! Mom and I will both give this one a try.
