This was a quick read, and a lovely story. Sad at times, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
I liked August the best, for her strength and wisdom.
Now I'm looking forward to the movie... Wanna see if they massacred the book. ;)
Though, judging from the trailer, they might actually have done a pretty good job.

update: (September 14th 2015) What an uplifting read! I'm so glad it was recommended and so happy to have it received via Bookcrossing (Thanks TN-Reader!). The story reminded me a bit of The Help, by Kathryn Stockett, which I also enjoyed. It left a smile on my face and helped me discover a new author. I'll have to check some of her other novels.
