"Bushnell...broadens her scope in her latest ode to New York strivers and sophisticates...The fun lies in the author's acute observations about everything from real estate envy to midlife crises." More
"Where [Bushnell] goes, her army of stilletoed fans follow. You gotta love it: the conflict, the secrets-telling, the peek into the world of the rich and valueless. It all adds up to a juicy summer read." New York Post

I really enjoyed this new book by Candace Bushnell. While I do not want to give away the plot, I will say it is a slightly more grown-up read by this author. Don't get me wrong, there are still all the elements we enjoy by Bushnell! And if you are a fan, you will love this book. You will see the discovering and telling of secrets, inside peek at what some view as success, both the strong woman and the insecure woman (which you hope grows into her own), and yes - sex. Toward the end I do believe I spotted a similarity between the married strong woman and the insecure young woman. Hum...
