I picked this up, unregistered, from Joe Momma's bookcrossing zone yesterday.

Frustrating that I can't make a new journal entry for this book, in this new bookcrossing site. All of this will run together because it won't let me put breaks in the lines either.
In this novel, Alex Delaware is no longer seeing Robin, guitar-maker, but still pines for her. He starts dating fellow psychologist Allison and warms to her. Yet both Alex and Robin still have deep feelings for each other. Their present partners are unusually accepting.
I generally like Alex and his relationship with Milo, homicide detective, and I generally find his psychological work pretty convincing (Kellerman is a psychologist himself but there are many differences among those in this field). I get a little tired of the staccato-like phrases he uses and that others also use in conversation. For example,
