Better than the Mel Odem mini-novel book. Much better. Includes things that weren't in the movie, helpful in understanding many key parts and subplots (Relationship of Lara and Alex, Lara's teenage years, Lara after her father's death, why she's wearing a dress at the end). Includes parts omitted (that should have been left in) the movie. Definate read for anyone who loved, hated, or didn't understand the movie. (Let me note for loyal Tomb Raider fans the the book leaves Lara's father as Henshingly, not Richard)
