I plan on putting this book in a bookbox that is currently in my posession. Only have haven't read it yet, so ~I shall read it while I'm on holiday and by the time I come back I should have read it and should be able to put this in the box.

I have read a few reviews on this book and it is apparently, far from a children's book and is well worth a rad for adults and young adults, that's why I'm putting it in the bookbox.

The blurb says:

'"Tall Jake, Take me away..."

Everyone's heard the rumours. Call on Tall Jake and he'll take you to Malice, a world that exists inside a horrifying comic book. A place most kids never leave.

Seth and Kady think it's all a silly myth. But then their friends disappears, and suddenly the rumours don't seem so silly after all...

Part Novel, part ground-breaking comic. MALICE YOU CAN'T ESCAPE.'

This book I can't wait to read and shall read as soon as I can!

I really enjoyed this book and it reminded me a lot of "The Hunger Games"! I can not wait for the next book in the series called Havoc which is out next year, I HAVE to get it!

I shall add it to my mum's ever growing pile of TBR's

I have recently bought the sequel to this book called "Havoc". It has been five years since I have read this book, so is it any wonder that I had totally forgotten what happens? I was reading on and on, surprised by how much I had forgotten. I am glad I've re-read it. But surely I should've remembered what went on in the story...

This is what makes me question. The comic pages are detailed fun, but are used to prevent the author from actually including action sequences. These can be extremely hard to write and definitely works well as a comic, but I think with the amount of small speech in this book, some chapters could've been transformed into the comic too.

I like how we don't know much of the landscape of Malice. This could be infinite, places people don't even know about. And the world is structured well, even though there are a lot of unknowns... Chris Wooding could easily make subsidiary novels or novellas... Unless the sequel puts an end to Malice as a whole...

I can't wait to read the next book to see more of Malice, and how this story will continue.
