If you've not done BookXcerpting before here's a brief run down of how it works...

I will email the first page of Chapter 1 of 8 books to the first person on the list.

Each Xcerpt will be marked with my Bookcrossing name and numbered 1-8. The title of the book and the author's name will be unknown

The person who receives these, can take out 2 xcerpts (3 if you really want!!) and replace each one removed with one of their own..don't forget to add your BC name & to number them. (Please don't take more than one xcerpt from a player without asking them if that's ok - we don't want someone paying out a fortune in postage!)

The Xcerpts are then sent to the next on the list & so on...please make a note on the release note as to which books you are requesting.

You then PM the person whose Xcerpt you have selected with the book number & your address....& a surprise book will be on it's way to you! Hopefully this will make sense...if not PM me!

I've added myself in the list rather than at the end as it didn't get back to me last time & I don't want to miss out again! New readers are welcome at anytime & will be added at the end. Once we've all made a selection we'll decide if we're going round again.

Sorry for the delay. I've received the excerpts and am now choosing which ones. The only slight little problem that I have is not knowing how to work my scanner, so if you could bear with me a little longer while I figure it out. Silly me was thinking that this would be a printed page sent by snail mail, thinking that I could go and photocopy the front page and then send on....... Hopefully I will try and do it now, if not will be sometime tomorrow!

I would like to take books number 4 and 5 please. Will sort out replacements as in previous message.

I'm sorry it took me so long to decide. It was a tough choice, but in the end I pick(ed) Book 5 (from Birmingham-rose) and Book 7 (from Plum-crazy).
