Didn't particularly like this book. I did finish it, which I find amazing. I got bored with it pretty quick. But I'm sure there are others who enjoy this book, so if anybody is interested in reading it, let me know!

This book languished on my TBR shelf for 13 years. I'm so glad I read it; Jeffrey Lent really knows how to tell a story. Although more violent than I usually can tolerate, the story of "Blood," a man who is besieged by his past and his "girl," Sally, whom he won in a poker game, is relentless in its telling. l loved the postlude!
